Da Joint needs you !
Da Joint is an non-profit initiative that tries to offer it's members and the community surrounding it a lot of benefits.
For example this website and the forum, LAN parties, gameservers, competitions and other stuf. To be able to do this, we need
a lot of time of the volunteers, but also money. Below is a list of ways to support Da Joint.
Financial sponsor
We appreciate any form of financial support we can get. We use our financial means to pay for hosting, hardware on LAN's, renting gameservers and even buying planetickets for our foreign members ;)
As a compensation Da Joint can offer space for your big advertisement-banner (top of the website) or a smaller banner in the left or right margin of the website. The compensation depends on
the form and the ammount of sponsoring. The website of Da Joint draws over 500 unique visitors a week who generate approximately 50.000-60.000 pagehits.
Advertisement on website
Da Joint is using the Google 'Adsense' advertisement program. Google displays adds throughout the website (see the left margin on the pages or the main index on the forum). For each click on an advertisement Da Joint receives a small
amount of money. So by clicking adds, you also support Da Joint. Please keep in mind that we don't want you to abuse the ads and mass-click them. This is prohibited by Google and may cause the program to be ended.
Merchandise
Sometimes Da Joint has T-shirts, mousepads and the alike to offer. These will be sold through this webpage.
LAN Parties
The LAN parties of Da Joint are only for Da Joint members and if there's any room left we usually have some friends of the clan filling in the spare room ;-)
The price for DJ LAN's is calculated in such way, that Da Joint makes some profit, this profit is just enough to pay for the website's hosting and sometimes (like DJ LAN 9) to give away some nice T-Shirt to the participants ;-)
In the first half of 2004, we have bought a 24-port 3COM GB-Switch, which will become very handy next DJ LAN ;-)
So ... by attending at a DJ LAN, you support Da Joint in a very helpfull way. Ofcourse you will receive lots in return ;-)

Last but certainly not least, you can help the clan out by helping out with whatever needs to be done ;)
